We ship all domestic orders under $100 insured USPS 2-3 day Priority Mail for a flat rate of $6.50 (insurance included - we have discovered that insurance is very important!) Domestic orders over $100 ship free! USPS Express delivery (1-2 day) is available for a flat rate of $18.50 for all domestic orders. When choosing the Express Mail option, please advise us if you would like the signature requirement waived; we will never waive it on our own. Most items ship the next day; however, because of the handcrafted nature of our jewelry, some items may take up to two weeks to ship. Please let us know if your order is time sensitive (i.e. for a birthday, mother's day gift, etc.) and we will do our very best to acommodate your timeframe.

For our International Customers, please contact customercare@circedesigns.com BEFORE placing your order to see if your country's postal treaty with the United States allows us to ship jewelry into your country. Please be aware that you may be responsible for customs/duty on your order per your country's regulations. We charge a flat rate of $18.00 for shipping to international addresses.

Sales Tax

A sales tax of 8.25% is charged on all orders shipped to a California address.

Returns

We pour our heart into every piece we design, and we want you to love wearing your Circe Designs jewelry as much as we loved creating it. If, for some reason, you find your piece doesn't suit you and you would like to return it, please contact us at returns@circedesigns.com to receive a return authorization number within seven days of receiving your item. For orders placed after September 1, 2008, we now have two options for returns: you may either receive store credit for the full amount of the returned item, or you may choose a refund of the cost of the returned item less a 10% re-stocking fee. Please indicate which option you choose in your correspondence with us. All returned items must be received in their original condition (including packaging) to qualify for a refund and must be received by us within 14 days from the date the return authorization is given. Please package your item carefully and use an insured/trackable shipping method (In the USA, you will need to use US Mail). Regretfully, shipping charges cannot be refunded.

Repair Service

If your Circe Designs jewelry should become damaged, we offer repair service. Please contact repair@circedesigns.com with the details for more information. At this time we offer this service only for pieces that we have created. Our ability to repair your piece may depend on the availability of appropriate materials.

Lost Earring Service

Argggh! Don't you hate losing one of your favorite earrings?! We include clear rubber earring stops with all of our french hook earrings, but accidents happen. That's why we offer our Lost Earring Service. When materials are available, we will make you an earring to replace the one you lost. Please contact lostearring@circedesigns.com for replacement availability and cost.

Privacy and Security

Your personal information is used only in processing your order. We will never share your personal information with any third party. When you place an order on our site, your personal and credit card information is protected through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. We do not store ANY credit card information. Always make sure you see the little gold lock icon in the lower right corner or the url box at the top of your browser window whenever you are placing an order anywhere online.

Proposition 65 Warning

The voters of the State of California passed the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, known as Proposition 65. Any company that operates in California, sells products in California, or manufactures products that may be sold in or brought into California is subject to Proposition 65. Proposition 65 requires warning labels on any product that may contain any of 600-plus elements that the California Air Resources Board considers a carcinogen or a reproductive toxicant. One of these elements is lead, which can be found in minute amounts in Swarovski Crystals, and some copper wire and copper components. If you purchase an item containing Swarovski crystals or specific copper components, you will receive this printed warning with your jewelry:

Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act 

Because of the new Federal Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act effective February 10, 2009, Circe Designs jewelry is not intended for use or wear by children 12 years old and under.

This is a very well intentioned law designed to protect children from lead exposure in common childhood items such as toys, books, tableware, bedding, clothing and jewelry in the wake of the mass discovery of lead in items imported from China. However, it is clumsily written and places an enormous financial burden on small businesses and artisans that make handcrafted items for children. It is a tragedy to think that I will be unable to buy my child a beautifully handcrafted wooden train at a local craft fair, or a hand-sewn quilt from a darling on-line boutique or even a handmade stuffed bear fom a church bazaar because of this law.
